Märklin Releases New U.S. Buildings {laser-cut wood}
PENZEE's {Bob Olson's company} Passenger Service - new American heavy-weight passenger cars and painting service for Märklin streamlined cars.
Club Day {Märklin} Weekend Offered Variety Of Events {especially Ed. Rob Kluz's open house}.
Harald Freudenreich showed many new engines and cars and his new {ALCo} GE - Ingersoll Rand boxcab diesel and two bay hoppers {*} and Chris Miller showed kits for 2-bay and 3-bay hoppers. Micron-Arts and Rogue displayed their new items. Micro-Structures now has interior and lighting kits for their buildings. Märklin showed new releases and their U.S. building kits.
FR Releases U.S. Diesel Locomotive
Some history of the first diesels {oil-electrics} is given and Harald Freudenreich's FR (Freudenreich Feintechnik) model is reviewed; it will be available in the original CNJ #1000 and Erie #20 livery. It weighs 30 grams, pulls like crazy, and is estimated to cost 750DM {about $455}.
