If you have any
information about the missions of the 11th Bomb Squadron or about
Anthony DeFusco (missing
in action near Lingling, China.)(see related story in "In
Memory")
Uncle Tony was a member
of the-
11th Bomb Squadron
341st Bomb Group
10th Air Force
14th Air Force (attached)
China-Burma-India (CBI)
we would appreciate the
information
I was touring Ceram Island,
Dutch New Guinea and came upon the scattered
wreck site of a Pb4y or
B-24.
The site was about 25 miles
inland of Amahai, Ceram.
I was told an Aussi missionary
went to the site but since then the aluminum
was salvaged by the locals
and only part of a turret and misc. parts were
left.
Do you have a listing?
My step uncle worked at North
American Co. Inglewood, California during
the war. He sent me
a photo of the last B-25H produced by the North
American Aviation Company
in 1944. The aircraft has the names of the employees
written on the aircraft
skin. Would you happen to know what became of
this aircraft? I will
send a photo upon
request.
I am directly related to
General Curtis LeMay, can you point me in the right direction
to find out more about his
history?
I was wondering how I can
locate information regarding Squadron 3731, Flight
2275? Around the year
1951 to 1954 and after.........
I am looking for info, photos,
and links about Consolidated Vultee, B-32 Dominator. Any help would
be appreciated.
