BRITISH STUFFED-BURLAP/D-DAY PARADUMMY ("RUPERT!")
The most commonly seen WWII paradummies and the only ones positively known to be used on D-Day June 5/6th, 1944. Hundreds of these little 3 foot tall paradummies were dropped by British planes, along with six brave SAS troopers, during the highly successful Allied deception mission called "Operation Titanic." Many additional unused Ruperts were discovered decades after the war in crates inside a storage facility at an old English airfield. They were found in mint condition with their scale sized parachutes still attached (and can now be found in the collectors market.)
