Vanity URL
The normal way to access your Personal Web page is with the URL:
http://home.att.net/~emailid
The "Vanity URL" feature simplifies the URL by combining your e-mail ID
http://emailid.home.att.net
Using Vanity URLs:
If you use our Publishing
Tools to create your web pages, all the work is done for you and you can use
the Vanity URL to access your pages.
Important Note:
If you choose to use a third-party tool (i.e., Microsoft FrontPage or Web
Studio) or if you create a web page by manually coding HTML, you will need to
add the following HTML tag to your page.
<BASE HREF="http://home.att.net/~emailid/">
This tag should be placed after the <title>Page Title</title>
