AT&T Personal Web Pages

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my credit card information secure?

To ensure the privacy of your information, anything transaction-related, including credit card numbers and personal account information, is encrypted for security using Secured Socket Layering, or SSL. When you finish the registration process and leave the Member Services area, an alert will pop up in your Web browser warning that you are leaving an SSL server and moving to a non-SSL server. This is a normal and automatically generated message that you don't need to worry about - all of your sensitive registration and transaction data will remain secure as you move to the Personal Web Pages Publishing Resources area. Because the information contained in the Personal Web Pages Publishing Resources area isn't as quite as sensitive as the information in Member Services, these pages aren't encrypted using SSL.

Please be assured that our firewall and other security measures are being used to ensure that only AT&T Worldnet Service members can register and gain access to the Personal Web Pages @att.net publishing feature. In order to access and change information in Personal Web Pages, members will be required to password authenticate (login/password) to gain access to the publishing environment, perform Web site and page management, use tutorials and online assistance, and upload Web pages.
