"This
has
to be a one of a kind! A moped made by Serro
Scotty. 'Ace" acquired
this
one. The Story is John Serro went to a FLA boat show in 1968 and
bought 200 of them and repainted them Scotty blue and gave them to top
selling dealers and sold the rest. I think this is the only one left. I
was very lucky to get it. Thanks to one of our Scotty group member's
who gave me the the chance to buy it. I paid more for it then alot of
people paid there Scottys"
Here is some more history on it compliments of Nancy Kroes

"Serro
did not manufacture them. They had them imported from
Italy....and they
are a Motori Morini Franco Gyromat made in Italy. The decal they
used on them is just like the embroidered patch Serro passed out in the
late
60's. It says Serro
Scotty Sportsman on it and has the Scotty dog and Hilander on it.
Appears these were around in the late 60's into the 70's but don't know
for sure when
they stopped importing them"
