Scotty hammock general specification as sent by Donna:
Hammock poles are 74 1/2" long.
Diameter of hammock poles are 1 1/8".
Hammock is heavy canvas: 63" long by 27" wide.
Pole pockets are 3 1/2" wide - double stitched.
Brackets are mounted 25" up from bed.
Spacing between brackets is 21" from inner edge of back to inner edge of from bracket. Thanks Donna and Jeannie for the hammock specifications and the pictures.

Here is some information on the
canvas hammock that some Scottys have in the rear bed area.
Although, I have heard that one in the front has been reported, as
well. This is a feature that gives you more sleeping room for
basically a child or smaller person. According to Jeannie's 1969
Original manual: 125 lb weight limit and standard in all front kitchen
models and optional in all other models.
