is for those of you who have
a furnace in your Scotty and is for the Wagonmaster wall
unit. I have uploaded a PDF file for you to look at the operating
instructions of the propane tank on your Scotty and it also has the
lighting instructions for the wall unit furnace I mentioned
above. It looked easier for someone to read if I just uploaded it
as done. Go to WAGONMASTER
FURNACE to view and read or
download this file.

This is from Lee Hillsgrove: Lee has a Suburban
Dynatrail Furnace (I
will be adding some manuals
soon). Lee stated:
"It has a "flag switch" - it's essentially a paddle that sticks into the airstrip generated by the combustion air/circulation blower and which is connected to a shaft which in turn rotates a shaft connected to a switch which in turn enables the gas and ignition circuit. If the battery voltage drops low enough, the blower won't spin as fast and at some point will not provide enough airflow to push the paddle far enough to trip the switch. It's a safety device. Alternately, there could be something binding which would require more force to move the switch." "Maybe you could pop the cover off and take a peek to see if that's what is happening. You may be able to trip the switch while it's trying to fire to verify that's what the problem is. Check to see if there is any debris in the blower wheel or something which might be obstructing the airflow too." Thanks for the info Lee !
