1999 Site of the Year Award

I'm very proud of this award which was received very unexpectedly on January 1, 2000. My "Essence of Magnolia" site was chosen out of 284 sites from the Southern Women's WebRing for the 1999 Site of the Year Award by Miz Millie. I quote her in saying, "This southern lady has created a graceful, beautiful page with many breathtaking sections... each lovely in its own right. Her photography, paintings, use of graphics etc., gave me a welcome taste of The South and made me homesick in my soul for "home"." Thank You, Millie.

 

In April, 2000, I was pleased to receive an
e-mail from Amy Cook and About.Com. She informed me that my "Evolution" web page was her featured site of the week. What a Thrill!
Although not an award, it was an honor.
 

 
In June, 2000, I received this message: "Congratulations! You have an exceptional website. You have been awarded my Beautiful Site Award." Thank you, Eternity!

This award was received July 3, 2000. Thank you, Bettye, of Elaine Web Page.

 

Pushkin sent me this award after viewing my Magnolia pages. She said, "I have so enjoyed my visit to your magnolia site!"

Although people don't seem to be giving awards anymore (I know I don't have time to do so), I decided not to delete this page because I do appreciate the awards from my peers and I am proud of them.
