IN MAY WE HAD OUR FIRST TRACK DAY OF
THE YEAR, WHAT A BLAST
SO GET IN ON THE FINAL ONE OF THIS SUMMER COMING IN AUGUST
If
you have ever wanted to ride your bike on a real race track and learn
how to
get the most out of your bike and at the same time learn how to sharpen
your
riding skills then keep reading……..
Learn
how to ride fast and go thru those twisties like an expert. Instructors will be teaching you the finer
points of getting the most out of you & your bike.
Riders will be grouped according to their current skill set so
everyone
gets the most out of this exciting day at the track.
There will be 20 minute sessions going all
day so you will be getting a lot of good experience.
Bring your biker buddies along to make it
really exciting as you race each other around the track.
Proper
riding attire is REQUIRED, protective
zippered jacket, pants, gloves, boots and helmet. This can be either
leather or
another type of protective wear. Bike
must be at least a 350cc

<>Hey
everyone.
It’s that time of year again for me
to test the waters and see if we have enough interest to do a couple of
private track days as we have done in the past few years. As a
reminder, these days are run as follows:
<>Three 20 minute sessions per hour and three groups
total – two bike groups, one car group. Track is hot from 9:00AM
until
5:00PM, with a 1 hour break over lunch. There will be somewhere
between 8-10 vehicles on the track at one time, so this is premium open
track time with no traffic.
<> Cost per person is still to be determined,
but will likely be in the $175 range (I’m still waiting to hear from
Grattan if they will honor our 2008 rate to keep the cost down).
Right now, I am planning 2 Monday days at Grattan Raceway, with
a third date at Gingerman
still in the works. The Grattan dates that I have reserved are in August, the exact date
will be ready soon. Contact John Ducato who is listed further on
in this update for final details..
<>So, if you are interested in
joining
us this
year, please reply to this email (just to me) and let me know which
date(s) you would be able to join us. If we have enough interest,
I’ll
collect money from everyone in a couple weeks.

I know that the economy
has hit everyone hard,
but I’m hoping that we still have enough interest to pull these days
off this year. I’m looking forward to another great year with
some
excellent events! Please let me know if you have any
questions.

needed. That is all part of the cost for
