Emanual has discovered two layouts that fold nicely into cubes; one that forms a cube with faces two pieces of paper thick, and another in which each face is three-thick.  Since a cube has six square faces the Two-Thick puzzle is comprised of twelve contiguous squares within a 4 x 6 grid, and the Three-Thick, eighteen squares within a 6 x 8 grid.

There are two sub-types of the Two-Thick folded cube, one that seals by buckling faces oppposite one another, and another that seals by bucklying faces that are adjacent to each other.
