DESCRIPTION Fun little kit to build. As an older kit, it has many seams to fill. The proportions are a little off from the illustrations and box art, but for the most part it is a fairly accurate representation for the grunt mobile suit of the Cross Bone Vanguard. Even after my shift to MG kits, this is one of my favorite models on my shelf. This is a small mobile suit, so as a 1/100 scale kit, it comes just under nose level of a MG 1/100 Zaku. MODELING CHANGES Molded in hoses were replaced with guitar wire, Wave springs, or coiled wire. Nozzles were replaced with Kotobukiya parts. Dents and dings were ground in with a motor tool. Feet bottoms were added. Propellant tank is modified 1/48 500lb Bomb COMMENTS Eyes and saber are done in Photo Shop Max technique was used to paint, but after weathering, you barely notice. |
