Downloading freeware is anonymous. The extra screen you see during a download is counting downloads. It is not attempting to identify you. If you purchase or register software from this site, you will be listed as a customer unless you request "No Mail" during your purchase, or submit a request to "Remove" at a later date. Customers may receive messages about the product they purchased (including updates or improvements), subject to the restrictions in the next paragraph. The best way to find out about additions or improvements to this site is to revisit it.
Anyone who is on a mailing list (and there is no such list, for now) will receive (by Blind Carbon Copy) zero, one, or two messages per calendar year, no more. Obviously, this restriction does not apply to writers who send conversational e-mail which requests a personalized reply. Since this site is a part-time activity, I apologize in advance if I am unable to acknowledge all messages. I will try to be more courteous than that.
