9th Bomb Group Reunion

The reunion will be held in the Holiday Inn next to the Dulles Airport in Virginia. Special group rate is $89 plus tax. The 30th of September is arrival date and departure is on October 4th. Registration fee is #29 for each person which includes Hospitality Room Expenses (coffee and Danish in the mornings), Reception Banquet, entry fees to attractions, lunch for 2 days while out on tours and all transportation costs.
The sites we will see include Mt. Vernon (lunch there), WWII, Air Force, Marine Corps, Viet Nam and Korean War Memorials, Smithsonian Museums (including both Air and Space Museums (Enola Gay), Arlington National Cemetery and Civil War sites.
If you are planning on attending please contact Rollin Maycumber (954-920-7096) ASAP to that he can make the necessary arrangements for busses, roo9ms, etc. Do NOT send any checks now. Those who contact Rollin will be sent more information when the contracts for all have been obtained.
Make your hotel and airline reservations now so you will be guaranteed a room/seat. If you are worried about your health, the hotel can be canceled with notice, we will refund your registration fee and for the air fare get a refundable ticket. MAKE RESERVATIONS EARLY. I'll be mailing the Newsletters. You can tell as many people you want about the Reunion all are welcome. We still average 10-20 509th Composite Group Veterans, We set up 5- 8 tables of Memorabilia, the food Is good. We have had good Speakers over the years, this year will be no exception.
My only request Is that If they want to come they need to be on the mailing list as that's where the Reunion Information comes from. The cost Is 20.00 per year for 6 Newsletters.

The reunion will be held at the Hilton Cincinnati Airport. The rate will be $99.00 plus tax and that includes breakfast. It is a beautiful facility and is near several restaurants. (See link above). They have a free airport shuttle to and from the airport. (The hotel is actually in Florence, KY).
There will be a tour to the Air Force Museum in Dayton, OH (Oct1) and a sight seeing tour on October 2. For those of you who do not wish to go to the Museum there will be entertainment and a luncheon at the hotel.

This will be a special reunion for us as we will be dedicating a 19th Bomb Group Memorial in the Memorial Garden at the USAF Museum.
