It was a calm spring morning off the coast of Daytona Beach, Florida. We were headed out fishing. Every once and a while, we would see tiny little fishes rising out of the top of the swells, traveling 20 to 30 feet thru the air, and disappearing back into waves. I was told that these were 'Flying Fish'.
I was thrilled to discover a real live evolutionary stepping stone between fish and birds.
This, my first 'flying fish' creation, I called "Suck Eggs".
