About

Rev. Debra Moore

Born in 1953 I have been aware of my supernormal abilities since I was a little girl after living in a haunted chateau in France in the late 50s.

My spirit guide, my paternal grandmother, made her presence known to me when I was about 6 years old.

She has always been with me and stands behind my left shoulder at all times.

Her very powerful presence was captured on film with a Brownie camera when I was in France.

We are all born with this unique skill but, unfortunately, many are talked out of it by their peers during childhood. I was lucky so communicating with spirits and animals on a higher, telepathic, level has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.

From independent research regarding those with developed intuitive skills (Your Sixth Sense - Activating Your Psychic Potential by Belleruth Naparstek) I certainly fit the composite profile created.

Naparstek's research has found that highly in-tuned/sensitive people:

·         Generally insist that what they do is nothing special

·         Are invariably women in their mid-forties and older

·         Have a stronger-than-average likelihood of being an only child

·         Have the presence of some talent and experience in the arts

·         Possess a greater-than-usual chance of having a photographic memory

·         Lots of experience meditating

·         A powerful need to spend time alone and in nature on a regular basis

·         A tendency to be a night owl and sleep very little, with frequent interruptions in sleep

As I have grown older my skills have become more refined, coming to me in various forms:

precognition

 clairvoyance (clear seeing)

 clairaudience (clear hearing)

 clairalience (clear smelling)

 clairsentience (clear feeling)

 clairambience (clear tasting)

 psychometry

However, I neither read cards nor tea leaves.

Rather than being called psychic I prefer being considered a sensitive or intuitive. The word psychic has been turned into something rather unpleasant by hotlines and such making it very difficult for those of us sincerely intent upon helping others; those of us truly aware of our abilities.

Never a skeptic, I was completely convinced after we disturbed a pristine forest in 1997 in order to place our home. All sorts of things began to happen and my life became extremely busy dealing with those passing through. They began showing up everywhere and are in my life daily. A life-long animal lover, I have always been able to speak with animals of all forms, those who others seem unable to, and distance is not a factor. I do not need to physically be near an animal in order to sense them. Matter of fact having an animal within close proximity can be quite distracting so simply being given a name, breed, coat color, sex and age, along with a few questions, even a photograph is all that is needed.

I have assisted several in attempting to locate lost animals – which can be very difficult at times because some just don’t want to be found; helped those in the process of going through transition; aided companion humans in determining ailments in their furry loved ones - verified by veterinarians; connected with the deceased loved ones (animal and human) of those still here, and assisted paranormal investigation groups in determining the presence of spirits.

I became keenly aware of the power and purpose of an animal when I had the privilege of having direct contact with a beautiful Timber Wolf – Maggie, the ambassador wolf from Mission: Wolf. To experience such a magnificent creature firsthand and feel her spirit so intensely was life altering and awe-inspiring to be sure. Maggie taught me so much and re-established my focus. As they say, to look into the eyes of a wolf is to see your soul.

During a get-together at my home one evening a young man noticed I was chatting with one of our dogs and said to my husband, Dan, "Did you know your wife talks to animals?" Dan promptly replied "Of course I do." The young man then said "Yeah....but they listen and answer her, too....this is too freaky for me!"
