Event Description

Our first War of the Pour was a 6-week bartender competition that was hosted at 5 different venues.  There were 4 preliminary events consisting of a best drink competition between 9 bartenders leading to a Final Competition where the top 2 finishers from each preliminary round competed for our chosen prizes and the "claim to fame" from being selected as one of Milwaukee's best!!

At each event, we had an esteemed panel of judges that judged drinks in the following categories:

Best Martini featuring Bombay Sapphire

Best Cocktail featuring BACARDI Light

Best Shooter featuring BACARDI Limon

Best Cocktail "Untamed Spirit" class featuring TROPICO

Bartenders and their drinks were judged for style, creativity, and presentation as well as on the TASTE of their drinks.  The two bartenders with the highest compiled scores each week went on to the Finals to compete for our event prizes which consisted of a grand prize Trip for two to Las Vegas, a TREK Mountain Bike as second place prize, and a Multi Disc CD Player as third prize.  All event finalists received Award Plaques and parting gifts...  No one walked away empty handed and all involved had a great time!!
