Diving in 2008
Once again, 2008 turned out to be a very nice year in terms of
diving. Most of Kerry's diving was associated with his dive club
MUD (Metuchen Underwater Divers). The year started off with MUD having
it's annual "head into NYC in January to see a Broadway play"
event. This year we saw "Young Frankenstein", then headed
to Le Madeleine's for a nice dinner (as shown in the picture
below). Then in March several MUD members headed up to Vermont
for a great weekend of skiing (at Sugarbush and Okemo). In the
shot below you can see several MUDDERs at Okemo (Kerry, Sue, Don and
Gary).

Once again, perhaps the highlight of the dive season was the trip up to
Canada to dive the St. Lawrence Seaway. In the first couple of
pictures you can see Chris on the trip, and then a shot of Boldt
Castle. Next, is an underwater shot that Chris took that shows
Kerry peaking into one of the wrecks, and then a group photo of the
MUDDERs that went on the trip.

.

In the next photo (that Chris took) you can see Kerry and Sue above the
deck of one of the wrecks. In the next shot you can see Mike as
he was coming out after a dive on the Conestoga (via the infamous
Lock).
After this is another group shot, and then finally you can see several
MUDDERs after their stop at the Duty Free Shop (on the way out of
Canada).

There was also quite a bit of local (NJ) diving as the following
pictures show. Below you can see a shot of Cap'n Al on the Sea
Lion, and then a mug shot of Kerry and Don while out on the water, and
the shots of Don and then Sue coming up the ladder on the Blue
Fathoms. Next is a shot of Gary and Don, and a picture of
some rough surf as we were coming back into the inlet one day.
Finally,
there is a photo from the MUD '08 picnic that shows Al and Duane.
