If your computer does not have a serial port, but does have USB ports, you can use this adapter cable to change a USB port to a serial port. The cable is 1 foot long. Each adapter cable comes with a mini-CD with drivers for Win98, WinME, Win2000, WinXP, Mac, and Linux. Installation instructions are on the CD also. These are great to use with our interfaces if you have a laptop or desk computer that doesn't have a serial port.

NOTE:  We have not tried these with the new Windows VISTA operating system. (Because we don't have a computer running VISTA) I have been told by a customer running a VISTA computer that they will work and that VISTA has the driver you need already in the operating system.
