Modes Interface Box will allow you to try digital modes to see if you like
it, without spending a load of money. This particular interface is for

It
gives you the needed isolation to protect your radio and/or computer.
This interface box will work with HF and VHF radios.
The
box is small sized, at 3" x 2" x 1" tall, so will fit easily on or behind
your operating desk.

| To use
this interface box you will need a few things which you probably already
have:
1. A receiver or transceiver,
with an auxiliary audio output socket (1/8"), that will cover the frequencies
that you can find the digital modes on.
2. A computer....
recommended is a IBM compatible, with a 100 Mhz Pentium processor or better
(there are a few folks using PSK and RTTY on 75 Mhz machines), with a Sound
Blaster Pro or better Soundcard.
3. Two audio cables
4. Software
for the mode(s) you want to listen to. These are available on the web and
most are free.
That's it. With these four
three things
you'll be ready to listen in on what's happening in the various digital
