The eye doctor gave me a pair of their "disposable" sunglasses to get me home. Turns out that they were a pretty good pair of sunglasses. They look a lot like the expensive glasses, to the point where I had people asking where I had gotten them (my teenagers' friends as well as other adults), and complimenting me on them. When I checked on their website, the eye office supply company does sell them directly to patients. They are still not cheap (about $30 for the Solar Shield Sports Wrap Shields I was given), but you could buy 3-4 pair of these for what you might pay for expensive brands. They are not quite as sturdy as the expensive ones, but even the expensive ones will often get broken or scratched. So consider whether you might get a better deal buying the cheaper ones and keeping a supply of replacements (shipping is the same whether you buy 1 or more). This would also be ideal for teens who want an expensive look, but aren't as careful as they should be with their glasses. To check them out, go to... http://www.ocusoft.com/PatientCat/sunglasses.htm POST IT...with your sunglasses. * * * * * * * "Super Foods for Babies and Children"Oh how I wish this book had been around when my children were babies. If you are looking for a book with all the details on how your babies and young children should eat, how to introduce solid foods, how to prepare things yourself and still have time to play with your children, and some great recipes, then get this book. Not only do I love all the good info, but she has adorable ways to present the food in animal and character shapes that I think would be just as fun to prepare as to eat! The older toddlers would probably like to help prepare them too. The book is broken down into different age groups from 6 months (when most physicians recommend starting solid food) to 3-yrs-old & older. She goes from baby foods, to finger foods, to transitioning to regular meals. She also has a section on dietary ways to deal with certain ailments like diarrhea, constipation, allergies, colic, eczema, and more. The book is filled with beautiful photographs of the foods and children too. She has health tips on almost every page, with charts that will make the meal planning a breeze. And those recipes....well, many of the ones for the toddlers & up had ME interested in giving them a try, they sounded so delicious! Every mom with young children should have this book. Even though it isn't for newborns, I think it would be a great and thoughtful baby shower gift. I'd enjoy just perusing this book for the 6 months before I needed it. Annabel Karmel, the author, has done an amazing service with this book, and I hope every mom will make good use of it. To read more about it or order, go to... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0743275225/ POST IT...with your baby shower cards/gifts, and baby books. * * * * * * * Keep Loitering Teens AwayIf you have a business or home where loitering teens are a problem, you might want to check this product out. "The Mosquito" is made by a British company (they do ship overseas) and puts out a very high pitched electronic whistling sound (according to my teenager) that only teens and younger can hear, and is very uncomfortable to listen to. Most adults don't hear anything, although I can hear a very slight noise when it is played. You can put one of the Mosquitoes in the location (out of reach and in a protective cage) where the teens congregate and turn the machine on when the trouble-making kids are around. If you have a store with teen customers, it won't affect them if they are just entering or leaving, but they won't want to hang around outside. Many police departments are also considering the use of the product for trouble areas. If you'd like to hear what it sounds like (or test it on your teens), you can go to... http://www.fork.com/ringtones.php Click on Mosquito Tones twice, then keep clicking on the new Mosquito Tones that show up until you get a list of Hz with the Mosquito at the bottom. Then click on "Mosquito," then "Preview" to hear. It isn't supposed to bother pets, and our dog didn't react. This site doesn't sell the product, it is a site that sells ring tones, because apparently some kids use it as a ring tone now, so adults don't know when they are getting cell phone calls. If you would like to purchase the Mosquito or become a dealer/distributor, go to... http://www.compoundsecurity.co.uk/teenage_control_products.html POST IT...with your favorite business owner who is having problems, with security system info, in the yellow pages under "Security Systems". Even if you don't want to buy it, it is fun to show your teens how they can hear it, but you can't. Might work well to play if you have teens hovering over you waiting for their computer time as well. ;-) * * * * * * * Destroy Your Info on Your Stolen Computer/PDAWith more and more people getting laptops/PDAs, more and more laptops/PDAs are getting stolen. I'm sure most have seen the high profile cases in the news. Well, what could hackers get off your laptop/PDA? If that makes you uncomfortable, then check out this article on systems that can be activated remotely to destroy the info on your laptop/PDA. http://www.komando.com/columns/index.aspx?id=1761 They also have a section on the LoJack for laptops, where you could track your stolen computer. POST IT...with your laptops/PDAs and with the computer people at the businesses you know. * * * * * * * Recipe: Chimichurri SauceThis is a sauce served in some South American countries. It is usually put on grilled steaks and other meat. Why not try it on your next barbecue to give things a South American flair. Mix together in medium sized bowl the following:

seriously... "Oh yeah, I know all the jokes. There's a blond walking along the

out, 'Hey, do you know how to get to the other side?' And the 2nd blonde says,
