The Tartan Heirs was the first Scottish Country Dance ensemble in the State of Alabama.  We are an international affiliate of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society of Edinburgh, Scotland. Our dancers are from the Greater Birmingham Alabama area. We are a family oriented group dedicated to preserving the Scots art of Scottish Country Dancing.
