Diving in 2007

As it turns out 2007 was an incredible year for diving.  We had the best conditions off the Jersey shore for YEARS!   The visibility was stunning, and virtually everytime we had pretty calm seas.   In addition, Kerry's dive club (MUD-Metuchen Underwater Divers) had a great trip to Lake Ontario (in Canada).  Instead of doing the St. Lawrence Seaway this year, the club opted to do Lake Ontario instead, and got a lot of great diving in.   Tom also went out with Kerry for his first dive trip (Tom was of course a bubble watcher) and he did great.   The club also went into NYC to see "The Drowsy Chaperone", and there was the club picnic, and holiday party.  All in all just a great dive season.

In the first picture you can see the group of us (MUD) that headed into NYC in January to see "The Drowsy Chaperone" (we are outside of Le Madeleine's - a great
French restaurant, and the 2nd shot shows Tom out on the Blue Fathoms during a dive we made in September.

Below, there is a picture of Kerry trying to do his best "Fidel" imitation (using a pretzel instead of a Cuban cigar), and then a shot that was taken of a wreck, "The
City of Sheboygan" in Lake Ontario.  The next two pictures were also taken up on Lake Ontario and show Chris and Gary, respectively.

In addition, you can see a shot taken of a deadeyes on one of the Lake Ontario wrecks, followed by another picture taken aboard the Blue Fathoms,
off the Jersey shore.  In that particular picture you can see Sue, Mike, Rich and Don.

The last 5 shots were all taken off the Jersey shore.  In these you can see Don and Sue on-board the  Sea Lion.  They are flanked by Paul C. and Cap'n Al.
Next is a shot of Mike on the "Blue Fathoms", and you can see part of Al sitting next to him..
These are followed by a shot of Al (holding a bouy) and then Don coming up the ladder.  Finally you can see Jody, showing all of us
that he does indeed of a bit of  "The Captain ... in him".
