Diving in 2003

Kerry made several dives during 2003.  The majority of these were off the Jersey shore, and most were with his
MUD (Metuchen Underwater Divers) club.  In November, there was also the annual bottle dive, with several interesting
things coming up.  Below are just a few pictures from the 2003 dive season.

One can see Don in his so-called "dry" suit.  His old Viking dry suit was pretty much on its last legs.  The most memorable dive
was the one in which Don's suit leaked so much that he could barely climb back up the ladder.  We estimated somewhere between 3 and 5 gallons
of water being IN the suit at the end of that particular dive.   You can also see a couple of flouder that the mate on the Diversion II brought up.
There is also a shot of Kerry in his trusty coveralls (over his dry suit) on a day out on the Diversion II.

Here few more pictures from MUD's annual "Thanksgiving" bottle dive during 2003.  The first shot shows Gary, Chris and Mike Lavitt.
The second shot shows an expected guest that came up within one of Gary's bottles:  a small Goose fish!!!  Soon after he had
his photo taken he was let go, and was last seen happily swimming away..  Lastly, there are a few of the old bottles (many from the 1880s to 1930s) that
came up that year.
