Lesson 11

WISE MEN VISIT BABY JESUS (Matthew 2:1-12)
                           Matthew 2:1-12

NOTE: From the previous lesson, it was pointed out that in Luke's
account of Jesus' circumcision, naming and presentation in the
temple, he simply omitted telling us that Joseph, Mary, and Jesus
went to Bethlehem from Jerusalem and then took their flight into
Egypt before returning to Nazareth. Matthew makes this clear by
taking up the story while they were in Bethlehem following the
presentation in the temple.
