These lists do not exhaust the miracles found in the Bible, but
they do show that a miracle was not limited to one era. While Jehovah was
in the process of revealing His word, His spokesmen were able to perform
signs and deeds to confirm their word. This is not to say that a miracle
was performed every time a revelation was given, but there were enough to
convince the honest heart of the message.

The miracles of Jesus are recorded to prove that He is the Son of
God; so that sinners may have an intelligent faith in Him; and yield a
hearty obedience to Him; that eternal life may be gained.

Truly, miracles confirm that the Bible is the Inspired Word of God.

NOTE: Miracles have ceased. (1) By limitation (Acts 8:6-17); (2) At
completion of God's revelation (1 Cor. 13:8-10; Jas. 1:25). Does not limit
God's power. Cf. Creation of man by miracle. NOW, law of procreation.
