FULFILLED PROPHECY
                    Messianic Prophecies

The prophecies concerning Christ are so numerous that they can be
dealt with only in a brief and general way. It has been estimated by
some that well over three hundred prophecies were spoken in the Old
Testament which relate to the Christ, each one being fulfilled. The
twenty-second Psalm was written about 1000 years before the cruci-
fixion of Christ, yet contained within this Psalm are about 30 pro-
phecies; all fulfilled at Calvary.
Christ Himself made it very clear He was the Messiah prophesied of
old by the prophets. John 5:39; John 5:46; Matthew 26:24; Mark 9:12;
Luke 18:31; Luke 24:25-27, 44. These and others are the words of
Jesus himself speaking and saying that He was the fulfillment of all
of the prophecies which related to the Messiah. Could any language be
used which is more clearly stated?
The apostles testified of Christ as the fulfillment of the pro-
phets. Acts 3:18-24; 17:2,3; 18:28; 26:22; 28:23; 1 Peter 1:10, 11.
Is it not strange that men such as they would give their every effort
and even their own lives to proclaim this truth, if it had been false
and they had not really enough proof for themselves?

fixion was not known to exist.)

                                             Phil. 2:9-11
How strong and solid is the divinity of Christ shown when all of
these passages are brought together! The strength of these prophecies
increases when the passages are tried to be brought to bare on any
individual other than Christ. Truly, JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!!!!!
