The sire's breeding record is legendary.  It must also be appreciated that the dam was one of the most productive direct daughters of Midnight Sun in the history of Harlinsdale farm.  Her progeny include:

Centennial Delight (a multiple WC)
Pride’s Prescription
Easy Easter (a consistent lite-shod contender on the national level)
Pride’s Pinnacle
Sweet Delight

Coin Machine (for years the undisputed open show champion of the Pacific Northwest show arenas)
Genius Machine
Hot Prospect

Centennial Genius
Fashion Machine
Good and Smart
Pride’s Hot Cargo (a WC mare & WC producer)
A Pride’s Easter Bonnet (a multiple WC mare)

Dancin Mochine
Full dam production record available on request to the TWHBEA.

Investment Genius, or "Charlie", has been shown strictly lite-shod, although several of his siblings have been spectacular padded show horses.  He was trained with the intent to become the ultimate versatility performer.  His disposition is extremely gentle, surprising many observers of his performances that he is indeed a breeding stallion.  He is sound, despite the rigors of the training necessary to achieve his numerous honors.  His legs are straight and substantial (not always easy to find in the breed).  His conformation is spectacular, and must be seen to be appreciated.  His model record speaks for itself.  His trademark is a gigantic soft eye on a large, wide forehead.

Investment Genius has proven his genetics.   We have learned that despite the mare's disposition, he passes on his gentle, calm attitude.  He also imbues his spectacular intelligence, the huge eye and wide forehead, correct conformation, including his very short back, and his extreme looseness.  His foals are a cinch to train, characteristic of the Pride's Genius breeding.  His bay color is non-dominant, so he has produced bay, sorrel, chestnut, spotted, roan, and black foals.

Investment Genius has been evaluated for breeding potential (sperm count, motility, storage and transport capability, and absence of STDs) by Lisa Metcalf, DVM, of Sherwood, OR, (503-685-9501), an equine reproductive specialist, and by Puget Sound Equine Reproductive Center.  "Charlie” was found to be free of disease and exceptional in all other regards. We breed by artificial insemination for safety and to preserve and prolong the fertility of the mares bred, which has been statistically proven.  (The University of Colorado in Fort Collins has proven mares bred only by AI have a three year greater productivity than those bred naturally.)  We offer a liberal live foal guarantee, and shipped semen of exceptional quality.    We use the utmost care with the handling of the semen, the stallion and the mare in regard to cleanliness.

To date "Charlie” has a 95 % success rate with mares presented to him at the W/W.   We have been enormously impressed with the colts he has produced to date, some of which are still on the ranch for visitors to see.

A video is available showing Charlie in action, and includes some of the colts born here on the ranch ($15.00 fee).

For those who are interested, Charlie’s blood-typing includes the factors   a:a   and   q: -/-  which is compatible with 78% of the breed.  Any mare showing an  "a"   factor on either blood grouping will not have a problem with blood incompatibility.    If you didn't understand this, don't worry.  It is a matter of current controversy and we can provide you additional information.

The stallion, when in residence is available at all times for mare owners to view and to ride him.  We believe that those interested in producing an intelligent, naturally gaited, gentle, talented baby must consider whether or not the potential sire is a horse which they can comfortably handle and ride.
