On this page we hope to answer some of the more common questions about these
electric scooters. The answers found here are based on our real world experience
gained from daily use of the scooters we sell.
My Wife won't let

What is this "real world testing" all about?
We ran our own 90 day test and evaluation of two model X-11's,
and two model X-360's. These test scooters were purposely shown no mercy.
Over four hundred combined miles were put on these test scooters by several
different riders, adult, teen and kids, lots of kids. During this time we
were able to get a handle on the scooters dependability profile, maintenance
requirements and performance characteristics. The results were staggering.
Of the four scooters tested we found it necessary to adjust the drive belt
tension on one of the X-11's. That's it! There Simply weren't any problems
with these electric scooters. An amazing product that does what it should
do, when it should.

Characteristics.
Both models were tested with the following weight
riders. (rounded to the nearest 5 lb) weights under 160
lb are not discussed.

Model X-11
240 lb will pull a *sustained 1% grade 40
lb above max rider weight for this scooter.
190 lb will pull a *sustained 3% grade shorter hills to
8%
160 lb will pull a *sustained 4% grade shorter hills to
10%
Model x-360
240 lb will pull a *sustained 2% grade
190 lb will pull a *sustained 4% grade shorter hills to
10%
160 lb will pull a *sustained 6%
grade shorter hills to10%
What is % grade
GRADE – Steepness of a grade, expressed as a percentage. Example: A vehicle
climbing a 5% grade rises five feet for every 100 feet of forward travel.
Keep in mind that a 10% grade is a very steep hill.

How does rider weight effect the scooters top speed
On smooth, level, paved surfaces, we found that top speed for these scooters
is virtually unaffected at rider weights of,
130 lb for the X-11 model
160 lb for the X-360 model.
At the highest rider weight of 230 lb the following was observed.
The X-11 model performed at an estimated 40% of top speed.
The X-360 model at an estimated 55% of top speed.
Tests were conducted on scooters with maximum tire inflation pressures, rear
wheel alignment and drive belt or chain adjustment to proper specifications.
These results may vary slightly from scooter to scooter.
How do I increase
performance?
The electronic brain (control box) in your scooter provides optimized amperage
to the motor throughout the entire power range. This insures maximum performance
and "streetability". No adjustments to this system are required or provided
for. Be sure to inflate your tires properly and keep your drive belt or
chain adjusted to the correct tension to avoid power loss in your new electric
scooter.
Can these scooters be used "off road?"
Although these electric scooters will negotiate
unpaved surfaces, their use in loose dirt or deep sand will cause excessive
strain on the power producing components of the scooter resulting in a greatly
reduced life span of those parts. Never operate your new scooter in wet
or muddy conditions.
Are these scooters "street
legal?"
Common sense operation is the "key" to this answer. This
type of transportation is generally accepted in most areas provided you pose
no danger to yourself or to others. Don't ride these scooters where you shouldn't.

What about indoor
or low ventilation area use.
These electric scooters are the only choice for these conditions. Great
for warehouse operations, trade shows, flee markets, RV Parks. Non polluting
and whisper quiet.
Are maintenance
procedures easily performed?
Straight forward, common sense design makes repairs a snap. Easy parts
replacement. Low maintenance, easy access. Tool kit included.
