Summary:
The scottish terrier, like most terriers (affectionately known as terrors) are very, very
high energy dogs. They are "sparred" in the ring, tested for their gameness. For this
reason, they are not recommended for multi pet households, but usually do very well in a
single pet household. The scottie can also be short of patience. He is not generally a good
candidate as a "couch potato" family pet.

If looking for a Conformation Show dog, this is a fair choice.
