Specifications: Nuvisions Artist Members in good standing (having paid current dues) may submit three original works in any media (such as oil, watercolor, acrylic, photography, mixed media, works on paper, sculpture, ceramics etc.) in any size created by artists with physical disabilities. Work must be properly framed and fitted with screw eyes on opposite vertical sides of the frame and picture wire (clip frames, poorly framed works or damaged works will not be accepted!) Unlabeled work will not be accepted! All works and framing should be of professional quality! All work must remain for the duration of the show.
Labels: Each piece submitted must be labeled on the back in an upper corner. Label should include artist's name, address, phone number, title of piece, medium and price or insurance value. (Use labels enclosed.) Please fill out the enclosed Record Form and return it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (record must be received by April 27) to: Rose Marcus, 1319 Magee St., Philadelphia, PA 19111. This Record Form is for insurance purposes. All work will be insured while on the premises.
Sales Responsibility: There will be a 20% commission on art work sold (10% will go to Nuvisions and 10% will go to The Kardon Institute of Art). Sales will be handled by The Kardon Institute of Art. Every precaution will be taken in handling entries. While Nuvisions takes reasonable precautions to safeguard artwork provided for its exhibits Nuvisions does not assume the risk of loss, damage theft and/or deterioration from any cause to artwork provided for such exhibits.
