Upper Starrs Plain Cemetery

 

Monument to Sergeant Augustus E. Bronson, of Company C, 17th Regiment, Connecticut Volunteers. He was wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1, 1863, and died in Danbury on July 5, 1863, aged 27 yrs, 6 mos, 8 days.
