Mill Plain Cemetery

The Mill Plain Cemetery is located on a rocky slope, behind a bank building on Route 6, near Exit 2 on I-84. The cemetery is in poor condition, with evidence of many unmarked graves, absent maintenance, and serious encroachment by commercial enterprises. The only access to this cemetery is through the parking lot located behind the bank - there is no public access. At one time, around 100 years ago, Mill Plain was a bustling township. Within easy walking distance of this cemetery, one can find remains of this township, such as an old railroad station and one of the 2 main roads from Danbury into Ridgefield - Ridgebury Road.

There are 52 gravesites that have been identified. In this transcription, the following codes have been used in the last column:
