Children of Israel Cemetery

The Children of Israel Cemetery is located on Miry Brook Road, about 0.5 miles west of Route 7, and directly opposite the Danbury Airport. It is separated by a fieldstone wall from the Miry Brook Cemetery, which is a separate entity. The cemetery is neatly arranged and well maintained. Many of the features of Jewish cemeteries in Europe and the Holy Land are present here, including framing of the gravesite with cut stone. Many of the stones carry inscriptions in both English and Hebrew.
