The other day at the hardware store I purchased some of those brass numbers to attach to the front of my house. Each digit cost $1.97 and I had to buy three of them to represent my address. On my street the addresses are sequential starting with 1 and incrementing by 1. The sum of all the addresses on my street that are greater than mine equals the sum of all the addresses that are less than mine. What is my address and how many houses are on my street?
