AA/GD 8 second quarter mile. 328 cubic inch Chevy (0.060 over and stroked 283), 6-71 blower with Hilborn 2-port injector, Isky 505 Magnum roller cam with flat tappets, Venolia pistons, Howard rods, Reath crank (radiused and grooved), heads by Mondello, direct drive into 4.11 rear end (8,000 RPM through the eyes).

At the Winternationals February 4, 1967, with partners Fred Seay and Dana McLorn. First attempt to qualify blew a head gasket, second attempt lost the blower to intake manifold seal. Bummer.

Blueprinted 409 and B&M Hydro in a '55 Chevy with a 5.38 gear and live axle. ET's in the mid-tens.
