Photos taken in early June

purple carrots

See the orange center?
purple carrot

Parsley, yarrow, gladiolas and blueberries all jumbled.

Potato in Hugelkulture bed. The bucket is a 5 gallon one put there to give you an idea of the size.
This was taken about 8 weeks ago.  Its grown a bit larger since then but is still thriving.   I buried it yesterday again.

It was raining and everything looked so cool in the dark so I played around and took a photo of my forgotten and blooming garlic.

I haven't figured out what the spots are.  I'm very bad about my poor apples.  I am working on everything else and have no time to help them.

These are the new peppers I just put in.  I started these between January and March and yet look how small.

This pumpkin is a volunteer I just let stay.  He's about ready to be picked!

This is my next to the largest pepper in the yard. Not very big, is it?

I have these spotted to divide and share with my mom and a friend.  Both like light pink flowers.

Penny Mac Hydrangea.

Penny next to a blue hydrangea.  This is a temporary spot for Penny until I find another nook that is as nice and shady as this one.

Pride of Wisconsin Melons

This fuzzy yellow flower has ALL the bees on it.  I've seen at least 6 different bees on it at once.  Its a bush and it came up in the same spot as a shrub I bought (a juniper).  I moved the juniper and let it stay. The shrub is about 4.5 feet tall and loaded with flowers.     ----- St John's Wort

Unknown tomato.  I know, I need to weed!  I keep weeding and it keeps coming back.  More mulch anyway!  That scraggly grass comes up everywhere but its easy to pull (its not Bermuda) and very welcome as muclh.
