The Hovespian Movement will be on the test.
I think it will reproduce the right size. But there is something weird about the sizing of these GIFs. I added a decimal inch ruler so you can check for yourself.
The construction is a little different but I can send folks a copy of the text.
So have at it glue chewers! The first person to finish one gets a can
of Alpo.
We are happy to announce that Eut Tileston wins 1/2 a can of Alpo. He
sends fotos of this fine model built from the Model Airplane plans. Here
it is winging its way from the canyons of New York to sunny San Francisco.
Much as I would like to award the whole prize, our international panel
of judges ruled that since it is electric and contains neither Hovespian
movements nor balsa gears we could only part with 1/2 the can.
Eut reports-
"It was built for the SAM (Society of Antique Modelers) Spirit of SAM
Electric event. It was scaled up from the Model Airplane News plan. Power
was 2 MG-1 motors. Battery was 6 cell KR 600 AE pack. (motors in series).
It flies well enough, but does not have the performance to be competitive.
Jay Burkart took the fotos of the model and I added bits of a couple
of post cards as backgrounds.

There is another nice Freeflight/Burnelli page Here.
I bet his download of the Booton/Pickard/MAN plans are better than mine
