The International Archives of the Second Wave of Feminism (IASWF) was instituted in 1997 by the Bay Area Women's Collective.IASWF OnLine is dedicated to conserving, communicating, and reinvigorating transformative ideas and activism of the second wave of feminism. IASWF OnLine publishes work about the peak period of the second wave (dated approximately from 1965-1973) and contemporary work tha tis original and futuristic. IASWF invites submissions of links to scholarly, organizational and individual sites featuring second wave archival collections as well as new research articles, essays, creatve writing, and artwork.

FEATURED December 2007:
Mimeographed copies of Naomi Weisstein's influential article of 1968 was passed from woman to woman during the second wave. It was influential not only as an important contribution to the exploding feminist consciousness of the late sixties, but presented a transformative challenge to the field of psychology. IASWF publishes original radical feminist articles and memorabilia that exist on the Internet. We also welcome creative and original contributions to theory and debate on contemporary issues, emphasising unique and new rather than existing feminist analysis.
