and have you commander, surgeon, clerk and adjutant fill out today. Keep
it with you at each event in case you are captured, paroled or killed.
These documents are to be printed front
and back on heavy cotton stock, and folded in thirds so that your name is
protected on the inside, and your enlistment number is visible on the outside.
