The cable-access program, Articulated Spectation, is now on the World Wide Web. Where experimental film and video makers once contributed to the effort to raise an alternate voice in the largely corporate/commercially controlled arena of popular specularity - the video screen - the computer screen is now mainstream. The original cable-access program was a showcase made up from contributions from around the world. These personal efforts were organized into programs centering around themes hinted at in those pieces. The producer would then create a piece based on the theme of those selections to fill out the time slot.
Then the internet became popular. Its very modus operandi bespoke of articulated spectation. To quote myself: "The nuclear family (as well as the rest of us) are promised a new era of articulacy." And, as you can see by the categories of this website, the potentials are there, waiting to be tapped. But like the other major media preceding it (television, movies, etc.), to truly achieve its potential, teams must be organized to address these goals. If you or your organization would like to be a part of this effort, please make contact.

Or, to put it another way ...

What, is juxtaposed, to the crux, of the moment, is, the justification, that, the emancipation, of our involvement, within the new community, is less, an issue, than the hyperbole, of enabling means, that now surround us, and feed upon us, as it feeds us, as it needs us, as we need it, thus, we mean what, we mean, what, we mean to, flourish, as, a new species, as, a part of one nation, as, a part of one, equation, within the realm, of expression, and beyond the bounds, of repression, to a higher form, of predisposition, with a predilection, for more, while only giving, more, all the while, having more, and always learning, more, and more, or less, making it, more, bearable, more livable, more interesting, and more right, to be alive, in a time, when, what we do, and why we do it, are as inextricable, as inseparable, as the unity, and the oneness, of the great-big-happy-family, that you, and me, are all a, single, part of, and play a part in, while being free to do as, what is good, for, you, or me, or him, or her, or it, or everything around you, and me, and her, and him, and their dog, and their cat, but not the fleas on their back, or the grubs, in my back, (yard, that is).
