Vital Records Resources:
Birth,
marriage and death records may be requested from the town clerk's office of
the town where the event occurred. Also, many of the original town
records were extracted and indexed. The microfilmed, indexed Vermont
vital records may be researched at the Vermont Public
Records Division, Department of Buildings & General Services.
Microfilmed copies of all, or portions of these for the 1760-1908 era may also
be researched through the New England Historical Genealogical Society, the
Allen County Public Library and the FHL.
