County Seat is Duluth.
Located in northeastern Minnesota.
Cities, towns and communities include:  Angora, Arbutus, Ash Lake, Athens, Aurora, Baden, Birch, Biwabik, Buhl, Chisholm, Cook, Cotton, Duluth, Ely, Embarrass, Eveleth, Fairbanks, Floodwood, Gilbert, Hibbing, Independence, Iron, McKinley, Mountain Iron, Nett Lake, Orr, Proctor, Saginaw, Tower, Virginia, Wahlsten and Wilpen.

St. Louis County is located in northeastern Minnesota.  Neighboring Minnesota counties include:  Lake county to the east; Carlton county to the south; Aitkin county to the southwest; Itasca and Koochiching counties to the west.  The Province of Ontario, Canada is its northern neighbor.
