Addison Township communities include:  Crestmoor, Hildebrand Village, Meiks, Riley Village, Shelbyville (the county seat) and Walkerville.


Brandywine Township communities include:  Clover Village and Fairland.


Hanover Township communities include:  Freeport, Gwynneville and Morristown.


Hendricks Township communities include:  Bengal, Marietta and Smithland.


Jackson Township communities include:  Mt. Auburn.

Liberty Township communities include:  Blue Ridge, Meltzer, Middletown and Waldron.


Marion Township communities include:  Candleglo Village, Knighthood Village and Marion.


Moral Township communities include:  Brookfield, Green Meadows, London, Pleasant View, Southeast Manor and Sugar Creek.


Noble Township communities include:  Geneva.  The town of St. Paul, located primarily in Decatur County is at the Shelby and Decatur County line, with a portion extending into Noble Township, Shelby County.


Shelby Township communities include:  Fenns and Prescott.  Wilson is situated at the Washington and Shelby townships line.


Sugar Creek Township communities include:  Boggstown.

UnionTownship communities include:  Rays Crossing.


Van Buren Township communities include:  Fountaintown.


Washington Township communities include:  Camp Flat Rock, Flat Rock, Lewis Creek and Norristown.  Wilson is situated at the Washington and Shelby townships line.
